Setting Up Discount Presets

Discount presets are pre-configured offers the AI can suggest to customers.

To Create a Discount:

  1. Go to SettingsRewardsDiscounts

  2. Tap Add Discount

  3. Configure:

Free items are often more memorable than discounts.

To Create a Free Item:

  1. Go to SettingsRewardsFree Items

  2. Tap Add Free Item

Severity Tiers

Severity tiers connect complaint severity to appropriate offers.

How It Works:

  1. AI analyzes complaint → assigns severity (Low/Medium/High)

  2. AI looks at your severity tier configuration

  3. AI suggests the offer you've assigned to that tier

To Configure:

  1. Go to SettingsRewardsSeverity Tiers

  2. For each tier, select:

    • Default discount preset

    • Default free item preset

  3. Save

Online vs In-Store Codes

You can set different codes for online and in-store redemption.

In-Store (POS) Codes

  • Used by your staff when customer visits

  • Can match your POS system's discount codes

  • Customer doesn't see this code

  • Staff enters it during checkout

Online Codes

  • Sent to customer in their email

  • Customer enters at checkout on your website

  • Must match your e-commerce system

Configuration:

When creating a discount or free item:

  • Allow In-Store: Toggle on, enter POS code

  • Allow Online: Toggle on, enter customer-facing code


Expiration Settings

Set how long customers have to redeem their offers.

To Configure Default Expiration:

  1. Go to SettingsRewards

  2. Set Default Expiration Days (e.g., 30)

  3. This applies to all new offers

Per-Offer Expiration:

You can override the default for specific presets:

  1. Edit the discount/free item

  2. Change Expiration Days

  3. Save

Recommendations:

Shorter expirations create urgency. Longer expirations show generosity.
