Receipt Verification

Requiring receipts helps prevent fraud and confirms the customer actually visited.

To Configure:

  1. Go to SettingsVerification

  2. Toggle Require Receipt

  3. Save

When to Require Receipts:

  • Yes: High-value offers

  • Yes: History of fraud

  • Yes: Need proof for internal tracking

  • No: Quick service restaurants (receipts often discarded)

  • No: Want to reduce friction


Photo Evidence

Requiring photos of issues helps you understand problems and verify claims.

When to Require Photos:

  • Yes: Food quality complaints (wrong order, foreign objects)

  • Yes: Product defects

  • Yes: Physical damage claims

  • No: Service complaints (can't photograph rudeness)

  • No: Wait time complaints


Email Verification

Verify customer emails before sending high-value offers.

How It Works:

  1. Customer enters email

  2. We send a 6-digit code

  3. Customer enters code to verify

  4. Only then do they receive the offer

  2. Toggle Require Email Verification

  3. Set threshold if applicable

Blocking Abusive Customers

Some customers abuse the system. You can block them.

To Block a Customer:

  1. Open their complaint

  2. Tap the menu (three dots)

  3. Select Block Customer

  4. Confirm

What Happens:

  • Customer can no longer submit complaints

  • They see a message that they've been blocked

  • Existing codes still work (to avoid confrontation)

To Unblock:

  1. Go to SettingsBlocked Customers

  2. Find the customer

  3. Tap Unblock


Anti-Abuse Settings

Automatic protections against system abuse.

Progressive Friction

After multiple complaints from the same customer:

  2. Set Complaints per device per day (e.g., 2)

  3. Save
