What is Scratch-to-Win?
Scratch-to-Win is an interactive scratch card game that adds excitement to the customer experience. Customers scratch a virtual card to reveal rewards like discounts, free items, or special offers. It's a fun way to engage customers, collect contact information, and drive repeat visits.
Setting Up
To Enable Scratch-to-Win:
Go to Settings > Scratch-to-Win
Toggle Enable Scratch-to-Win to on
Configure your card segments (see Prize Configuration below)
Customize the card appearance (style, colors, title)
Set eligibility limits and tracking options
Tap Save
How It Works
Here's the customer journey from start to finish:
Customer accesses the card — They scan a QR code, visit your business page, or tap a link
Enters their email — Required to deliver the prize and enforce eligibility limits
Scratches the card — They swipe across the card to reveal what's underneath
Wins a prize — A congratulations screen shows what they won
Receives a promo code — An email is sent with the prize details and a QR code for redemption
The promo code QR can be scanned at your location for easy redemption tracking.
Card Styles
Choose from four card styles to match your brand:
Gold
Premium gold shimmer finish
Silver
Sleek silver metallic look
Holiday
Festive seasonal design
Custom
Pick your own card color to match your brand
You can also set a custom Card Title (e.g., "Scratch & Win!", "Reveal Your Prize!").
Prize Configuration
Each segment represents a possible prize. You control what prizes are available and how likely each one is to be won.
To Configure Segments:
Go to Settings > Scratch-to-Win > Card Segments
For each segment, set:
Prize Name — What the customer sees (e.g., "10% Off", "Free Coffee")
Prize Type — Percentage discount, dollar amount, or custom reward
Win Probability — The chance of revealing this prize (all segments must total 100%)
POS Code — Optional code for your point-of-sale system

Eligibility & Limits
Control how often customers can play to manage costs:

For best fraud prevention, enable both email and device tracking.
Redemption Settings
Configure how prizes can be redeemed:
Expiration Days
How many days the promo code stays valid (default: 7)
Allow In-Store
Prize can be redeemed at your physical location
Allow Online
Prize can be redeemed on your website/online store
Same-Day Redemption
Whether the prize can be used the same day it's won
Access Options
Public
Anyone can access via your business page or link hub
QR Only
Only accessible by scanning your QR code (great for in-store exclusives)
QR Code Access
You can generate a QR code that links customers directly to your Scratch-to-Win card from the QR Codes page. Select the "Scratch to Win" focus preset to create a QR card with scratch-themed messaging.

Tips
Keep prizes enticing — Even small rewards (10% off) feel exciting when you scratch to reveal them
Use QR Only mode for exclusivity — Restrict access to in-store customers for a VIP feel
Set reasonable limits — Once per month keeps customers coming back without excessive giveaways
Enable both tracking methods — Email + device tracking provides the best abuse prevention
Match your brand — Use the custom card color to match your business colors
Rotate prizes regularly — Fresh prizes keep repeat customers engaged
Promote on social media — Share the link to drive traffic and collect emails
