What is Spin-to-Win?

Spin-to-Win is a gamified prize wheel that adds excitement to the customer experience. Customers spin a virtual wheel for a chance to win rewards like discounts, free items, or special offers. It's a fun way to engage customers, collect contact information, and drive repeat visits.


Setting Up

To Enable Spin-to-Win:

  1. Go to SettingsSpin-to-Win

  2. Toggle Enable Spin-to-Win to on

  3. Configure your wheel segments (see Prize Configuration below)

  4. Customize the wheel appearance (colors, logo, background)

  5. Tap Save


How It Works

Here's the customer journey from start to finish:

  1. Customer accesses the wheel — They scan a QR code or visit your business page

  2. Enters their info — Email (required) and optionally phone number

  3. Spins the wheel — The wheel animates and lands on a segment

  4. Wins a prize — A congratulations screen shows what they won

  5. Receives a promo code — An email is sent with the prize details and a QR code for redemption

The promo code QR can be scanned at your location for easy redemption tracking.

Prize Configuration

Each wheel segment represents a possible outcome. You control what prizes are available and how likely each one is to be won.

To Configure Segments:

  1. Go to SettingsSpin-to-WinWheel Segments

  2. For each segment, set:

    • Prize Name — What the customer sees (e.g., "10% Off", "Free Coffee")

    • Prize Type — Discount, free item, or custom reward

    • Win Probability — The chance of landing on this segment (all segments must total 100%)

    • Segment Color — Customize the look of each slice

  2. Download or print the QR code

  • Keep prizes enticing — Even small rewards (10% off) feel exciting when you win them on a wheel

  • Use it for events and promotions — Launch a Spin-to-Win campaign for holidays, grand openings, or slow periods

  • Monitor spin-to-redemption rates — Track how many prizes are actually redeemed to fine-tune your segments

  • Balance your probabilities — Make sure the big prizes are rare enough to stay profitable but frequent enough to keep things exciting

  • Rotate prizes regularly — Fresh prizes keep repeat customers engaged
